Transfiguration To Teach Who Christ Is
Please watch our Youtube video: click here
Transfiguration started the To Teach Who Christ Is campaign in the autumn of 2013 and received pledges totaling $670,000 toward our goal of $1,015,000. Your generosity has allowed us to move forward with important projects. These include the sealing and restriping of the parking lots, replacing lights in the Parish Life Center, installing a new phone and computer system. An architect has assisted with the renovation of the Church. Thank you for your early and generous financial support which has allowed these developments to become a reality.
However, we are still short of addressing all of our needs and fulfilling our goals. Thus, I have decided to reintroduce the To Teach Who Christ Is campaign and at the same time, increase our original goal of $1,015,000 to $1,500,000. Enhancing our goal will allow us to address additional needs, reduce our debt and establish a reserve fund. In just a couple of short weeks, our renewed efforts have already raised $250,000 in new pledges from just 51 families - This brings our new total raised to almost $920,000!
In the coming weeks, I will ask for your thoughtful and prayerful pledge. If you have questions please contact our campaign chairs: Gene Faut at 224-305-6176 or Mark or Karen Abernathy 847-526-6079.Weekly Wednesday Holy Hour
Our Evangelization Commission invites you to attend our Wednesday Holy Hour at 7 PM in Church. Come and experience the peace of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Join the journey with guided prayer, music and silence. Come and be spiritually fed and uplifted.
