Environment and Art
The purpose of this ministry is to enhance the life of Transfiguration Parish by bringing peace, harmony, and beauty to the physical space and surroundings for the celebration of the Liturgy.
We meet on a seasonal basis to prepare for specific events and otherwise as needed. During certain periods (Christmas or Holy Week), some of us give 20 or more hours per week.
An ideal candidate for this ministry would be any creative person who likes to work with their hands. It’s a good place for people with wild but workable ideas.
We strive to beautify the church for liturgy and are constantly looking for creative people and ideas.
