How will you journey this Lent?
During Lent, we are offering a Small Faith Sharing Group to gather together in-person, once a week, to read and discuss the Sunday Scripture and to explore this year’s Parish Lenten Message Series. We aim to deepen our faith and commitment to Christ and His Church through prayer, fellowship, and learning. Bring a friend!
Join us on Saturdays, 9am to 10am in the Old White Church (entrance on Church Street). Contact the parish office with any questions.

Feb '24
Live Theater Production will present “The Passion of Christ” at 2 pm on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Transfiguration Catholic Community, 316 Mill Street, Wauconda IL.
Comprised of approximately 70 amateur volunteer actors and singers and directed by Cecylia Jablonska, the troupe has performed “The Passion of Christ” throughout Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana as a Lenten tradition for the past 25 years.
The goals of the Passion of Christ are to deepen faith; provide a chance to fulfill the theatrical dreams of adults and children alike; integrate families through fellowship; discover new leaders; and inspire new passions.
For the viewer, it is an immersive theatrical experience to be enjoyed by all, in addition to a spiritual preparation for the Resurrection of our Lord.
All are welcome; a free-will offering will be accepted.
For information, call Live Theater Productions at 773.544.6573 or Transfiguration Catholic Community at 847.526.2400.

===== 2024 Annual Catholic Appeal
Our parish is conducting our campaign for the Annual Catholic Appeal. Please remember that the Annual Catholic Appeal is much different than a one-time special collection. It is a pledge campaign where you can make a gift payable in installments. The new Annual Catholic Appeal theme, “Together at the table,” is an important theme as we prayerfully consider our support for the Appeal but also important for embracing the life that the Lord wants us to live.
Each pledge makes a difference! All parish communities participate in the campaign and the gifts of many enable our parishes, schools and ministries to deliver needed services. Thank you for your prayerful consideration and generous response.
To make your gift, you can complete the mail-in giving envelope available at church or make a gift online at
