===== Remain In Me Series

Summer Series on the Eucharist:

Join us for any or all of this 5-part small group series: Remain in Me (based on a work by Cardinal Blaise Cupich and further developed by the Archdiocesan offices of Lifelong Formation and Divine Worship) hosted by the Evangelization Team on Wednesdays: June 19, 26, July 10, 17, 24 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm in the Old White Church.

Our time together will include video presentation, self reflection questions and small group discussion based on Take, Bless, Break, Share: A Strategy for a Eucharistic Revival, by Cardinal Blase Cupich,

July 10:  The Eucharist as a Summons to Participation: In this third reflection, we are invited to pray about, contemplate, and discuss how the Eucharist, the Lord’s action in his Paschal Mystery, beckons us to active participation in the Mass. When we are open to the Eucharist as the invitation of Jesus Christ himself, we become much more than passive guests at Mass. We begin to recognize and appreciate “The Eucharist as Summons to Participation.”

June 26th – The Eucharist as a Matter of Life and Death:  In this second reflection, we are invited to pray about, contemplate, and discuss the great importance of worship and how the Eucharist is vital to our lives as Catholics. As we ponder the Bread of Life as God’s response to the deepest hunger of the human heart, may we grow in the desire to receive “The Eucharist as a Matter of Life and Death.”

June 19th – Week One: The Imperative of Worship: In this first reflection, we are invited to pray about, contemplate, and discuss the Catholic Tradition of the Eucharist as the central act of worship that sustains the life of faith.

All are welcome as we explore the Eucharist in our lives today, especially as our Catholic Church prepares for the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage to Indianapolis this July. Stop in the main church after the sessions to spend some quiet time with Jesus during Wednesday Holy Hour!
