The winning Jackpot of $9,155 will be split 50/50 with the winner!
The Queen was found and we have a winner! The winning ticket ’30’ revealed the Queen of Hearts when pulled live on Facebook on Thursday, June 8th. Thank you for your support to all who participated and to all our volunteers. Stay tuned for news of the next drawing cycle!

Team Volunteers Needed!
The Queen of Hearts Raffle is a major parish fundraiser. We are seeking reliable team members to assist with ticket sales (before/after weekend masses and at special community events), drawing night activities, follow-up and publicity. It is our hope that we can establish a rotation of team members so that the burden does not fall on the same people every week. As the saying goes: “Many hands make light work!” Our coordinator, David Jakubek, would love to welcome you to the team. Please text or call him at 847.456.9814 for details.

— The Jewish Roots of Holy Week

If you knew you only had one week left to live, how would you spend it? What would you do? Most people know that Jesus celebrated the Last Supper on Holy Thursday, died on Good Friday, and lay dead in the tomb on Holy Saturday. But what about the other days of Holy Week? What did Jesus choose to say and do on the last seven days of his life?
Join us for a video presentation where Dr. Brant Pitre takes his knowledge of the Jewish roots of Christianity and uses it to unveil the mysteries of the most sacred and solemn week of the entire year: “Holy Week.” We will see what Jesus did on each day of Holy Week and learn about the prophesies he fulfilled.
We will gather in the Old White Church on Tuesday, March 21st from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided.
RSVP by Monday, March 20th: online through SignUpGenius>Explore The Mystery of Holy Week or call Vicki at 847.997.7350.
Here is the description of this talk from the website of Catholicproductions.com:
“Most people know that Jesus celebrated the Last Supper on Holy Thursday, died on Good Friday, and lay dead in the tomb on Holy Saturday. But what about the other days of Holy Week? What did Jesus choose to say and do on the last seven days of his life? In these riveting presentations, Dr. Brant Pitre takes his knowledge of the Jewish roots of Christianity and uses it to unveil the mysteries of the most sacred and solemn week of the entire year: “Holy Week.””
In these two presentations, you will discover:
1. Palm Sunday: Why did Jesus ride into Jerusalem on a donkey?
2-3. Holy Monday-Tuesday: Why did Jesus curse the fig tree on holy Monday?
4. Spy Wednesday: What is the hidden meaning to Judas’ betrayal of Jesus? And why is this day called “Spy Wednesday”?
5. Holy Thursday: How exactly did the disciples prepare the Passover for Jesus?
6. Good Friday: What is the meaning of the blood and water that flowed from Jesus’ side?
7. Holy Saturday: Why did Jesus rest in the tomb? Where did Jesus’ soul go on Holy Saturday?
8. Easter Sunday: Why did Jesus rise on the “first day of the week”?
