Virgin Mary Crowning
The month of May is dedicated to Mary. The traditional practice of crowning an image of Mary is done on the first day of May; however, this year at Transfiguration Church we celebrated May Crowning on the First Communion Masses on Saturday, May 2, 2021, to have the communicants bring to our Blessed Mother a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
We invite the parish community to continue to pray for these children who received the Holy Body of Christ for the first time.

On behalf of the Transfiguration School of Religion director, Catechists, Frassati Principal, Teachers, Families, and Friends.
And united by the Most Blessed Sacrament, we would like to congratulate the 2020/2021 First Communicants!
Rev. Fr. Juan Avila Ibarra and Fr. Alex Garcia, welcome many families on Saturday, May 1, 2021, where 52 children united with Jesus Christ through the Holy Eucharist, the precious body of Christ. May that they be filled and nourished by our Lord and Savior. May the good lord guide them throughout their journey and pray that God’s grace shine upon them today as they grow in the spirit of His embrace now and always.
The whole parish community is invited to keep them in your prayers as they journey along with Christ.
