04.11.21 ===== Parish Announcements

WEEKLY HOLY HOUR:

Beginning on April 14, 2021 at 7:00 PM Holy Hour will resume. Register in-person.

SPECIAL CELEBRATIONS:

Dates can be reserved for special celebrations such as Baptisms, Weddings and Quinceañeras. Be sure to contact the Parish Office to inquire about a date prior to reserving a venue if a party is planned. Our Spanish speaking Administrative Assistant, Laura Lugo, is in the office Monday – Friday from 9 am – noon and 1 – 2 pm and the Parish Secretary, Kathie Blaszak, works until 5 pm on weekdays. Please contact us during the time that will best serve you.

PARISH OFFICE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

We look forward to the time when our Office Ministry can resume. Volunteers in this ministry answer phones, fulfill walk in requests and handle light office tasks. The hours are 1 day per week from 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm Monday -Friday. Please contact Kathie Blaszak in the Parish Office at 847-526-2400 x 245 if you can help.

CRS RICE BOWLS:

Your CRS Rice Bowls can be turned in the next 2 weekends. A separate basket will be in the vestibule for your bank or envelope. Thank you for your generous support.

Church on Saturday, April 3, 2021.

On behalf of the Transfiguration Parish and the School of Religion director, catechists, Frassati principal and teachers, families, and friends!

And united by the Most Blessed Sacrament, we would like to congratulate the 2020/2021 Confirmandi, who were sealed with chrism and the Holy Spirit by Rev. Fr. Juan Avila Ibarra, who with a special dispensation from the Archdiocese of Chicago administrated the Sacrament of Confirmation to 75 young teens on Saturday, March 13, 2021. May the gifts of the Spirit fill your lives and deepen your faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
